What you can track with a website change monitor
- Competitor pricing and plans. See when a competitor changes a price, a plan or a feature list.
- Terms, policies and legal pages. Catch edits to terms of service, privacy policies or partner rules that affect you.
- Product and stock pages. Spot new products, changed descriptions or items that come back in stock.
- Your own site. Confirm that a release changed only what it should, or find text that changed without anyone noticing.
- Regulations and documentation. Follow pages from regulators, platforms and APIs that publish changes without announcing them.
How the comparison works
The tool reads the text of the page, leaves out scripts and, if you choose, menus and footers, then compares it line by line with your saved version. Changed lines are compared word by word, so a new price or a single edited sentence stands out.
What it does not do yet
Checks run when you click the button. There are no email alerts yet, pages behind a login cannot be checked, and text that a page loads with JavaScript after it opens may not appear, because the tool reads the HTML the server sends.
Need automatic alerts?
We build monitoring automations that check pages on a schedule and send changes to email, Slack or your CRM, using tools such as n8n. See AI automation services if you want this running on its own.
